a couple meal ideas -

04-08-08, 04:13 PM

I'm trying to come up with some things we haven't had for dinner - or at least not recently. So, there is no way of knowing how good they'll be until we try them but...

I picked up ingredients for chicken ceasar salad wraps
Hoping to try some breakfast wraps (eggs, potatoes, bacon or sausage and cheese)

Outside of that I'm not sure what other things to cook right now but that's a start for the week anyway. Of course I'm really craving a hot dog... this after having seen a hot dog special on the food network yesterday and today with the red sox home opener

mmm the ceasar salad wraps were gooood. I might make them again tonight since we have a leftover chicken breast that needs to be used before it goes bad.

Well we did the ceasar wraps the other night and for that I did this:

Cut up a chicken breast and then cooked it on the stove then cut it into smaller strips to be put into the wraps.
I bought a ceasar salad kit at the store and then mixed the romain and lettuce in a bowl to get it all good and covered.
Then I just layered some romain on a wrap, then lettuce and croutons. mmmm yumm

For the breakfast one, I haven't done it but, my plan is to put scrambled eggs on a wrap, then sausage or bacon, some potatoes and cheese then wrap it up
