nothing spent the day here, being sick. i think once im feeling 100% we'll see about doing something...how was your day? or weekend even?

sorry you're still feeling so crappy - I hope you're feeling better sooner than later! You'll definitely have to do a make up Mother's Day

My weekend was great... Saturday in CA was awesome. We had lots of fun and it was great to see my brother and fsil. She was so shocked to see us I was so exhausted by the time we were waiting for our return flight...with good reason - we had been up for 22 hours straight at that point.

Got a few hours of sleep on the flight home and then another few with Josh and Sienna it was nice to snuggle up to her again. I missed her so much! Josh made a mistake of putting me on speakerphone when I called once while away and she got SO upset! I got sad too hearing how upset she got.

Let's see... Sunday after our nap we went to Babies R Us (saw a hard plastic pool!!! but didn't get it cuz we weren't sure it would fit), Target and Lowes It was a really nice day out too - very sunny.

ohhh Sienna was at home with Daddy while you were in CA, was that your first time being away from Sienna? sounds like you had a great weekend though

yeah the first real time away from her it was only a day, but that was still SO hard. She's still in one piece though, so that's good

My brother gave me a Mother's Day card - I totally wasn't expecting that. Opened it up at the airport and totally got emotional over it... I told him it was probably due to missing Sienna so much and being so exhausted. It was really sweet of him and my favorite of the three cards I got. gonna be a keeper

yeah i can imagine it was hard, ive yet to leave Serenity for longer than a couple of hours and only with Jesse, and me and Jesse have had a babysitter a massive 2 times and they both came to our house, and the first time was after she was asleep

[Rachel]

I'm not sure how I'll be when we finally decide to get a babysitter I doubt that will be any time soon

isn't it just SO hard to leave our lil babies (even though they're not so lil or babies anymore )

it is, and i sometimes wonder whos gunna watch Serenity when i have baby #2, weird i know, i want her at the hospital with me! and jesse can tend to her while im in labor nah idk

I've thought the same thing!! Especially since our families aren't close enough for it to really work out for them to watch her last minute. I think she may end up at the hospital with us. It wouldn't be the worst thing I don't think, but who knows? I guess we'll have to wait and see what happens closer to then huh?

yeah i just dont wanna traumatize my child, i plan on having a natural water birth next time, and that will probably consist of alot of screaming, i guess it really depends how old Serenity will be when that time comes

if you talk to her a lot beforehand about it, she might be okay

like i said guess it just depends how old she is
